Once you have decided to make an offer on one of our client’s homes we will note your offer, the reasons for it and qualify your finances and situation. We will then present it to our client’s for consideration and handle any negotiations. If a sale is agreed, we will remove the property from the market once all our checks have been completed.

This is often the longest and most stressful part of the process, with the average UK sale taking 5 months to complete (Many can be quicker, but some even longer!). However, selecting a good solicitor is worth their weight in gold. They’ll handle contracts, order local searches, and make sure everything is watertight. If it helps, we’re happy to recommend trusted professionals we work with. During this stage, property chains can form, which could delay the timescales but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way and ensure you’re never left in the dark.

Once contracts are exchanged, the finish line is in sight. On completion day, the keys are yours once solicitors have confirmed they have the funds – cue happy dances, furniture shopping, DIY and takeaway menus.
